Crab Stuffed Shrimp

I love Shrimp, that’s no secret…and what do I love more than shrimp? Shrimp stuffed with crab! It may look complicated, but very easy to prepare.

Crab-Stuffed Shrimp on a Squash and Basil Puree’ with Smoked Salmon Crustini & Caviar

Red pepper flakes gave it just enough spice

A few ingredients. Fresh taragon would have been better, but it’s always good to have dry herbs on hand

Now that’s a handful!

Garlic, celery, & shallots, you’ve been chopped…but you will move on to the next round? I guess I watch too much “Chopped”

Into the pan for your next round

Addition of a little white wine and tarragon


Crab meat added

Fresh Parsley & Lemon zest, salt & pepper

Added Bread crumbs, eggs–lets stuff those shrimp!

All stuffed and all ready for the oven

Out of the oven

Asparagus–such a lovely vegetable don’t you think? Will go nicely with our stuffed shrimp

Plated–Crab Stuffed Shrimp, Asparagus, Couscous with Hollandaise Sauce, with avocado and fresh thyme. The Hollandiase Sauce was such a nice touch and really accompanied the Couscous very nice
