Looking forward to planting many and plenty in my garden this year. I can piddle around in my veggie and flower garden all day—very relaxing and enjoyable

Yellow summer squash

Yes, I think you all get it that I simply love Okra. Simmered (covered) until “just so” with a small amount of water, salt and pepper

Roasted Cauliflower–Just drizzle with olive oil, mix in some chopped garlic, salt, pepper, and roast at 400 for about 12 minutes, garnish with fresh chives and parsley

Cauliflower Gratin

Corn on the Cobb, baked in the husk at 350 for about 32 to 40 minutes. Of course before you begin, wipe the husk down, trim the end if needed. After it’s done, peel back the husk and drizzle with butter—seasoned butter (chili-lime is good) or plain. Very sweet and tasty

Or we can always just fire up the old grill and grill it

Let’s put the indoor grill to use also

Saute chopped turnips

Add yellow squash, scallions, tomatoes

Add kale, and we have a nice veggie meal
